Information:
Chamber Happenings: Members receive “Chamber Happenings,” our monthly
publication, filled with current business and member news, as well as event
information.
E-Mail Alerts: Members who wish to receive e-mail alerts will hear
first about Chamber and community events, new programs, and incentives, etc.
Directory: The GPCC publishes annually, a Paterson Area Business and
Community Guide, which is filled with information about Paterson’s History,
Demographics, a business and service listing, and quick dial listing of City
agencies and services. In addition to this directory, the Chamber of
Commerce is a great resource for information about City programs, contact
information, directions, referrals, and more.
Networking:
Events: The GPCC regularly holds various networking events and
seminars where members meet and greet with each other as well as local
politicians, decision makers, and non-members.

Paterson Young Professionals Network (PYP):
The Greater Paterson
Chamber of Commerce’s newest program is geared toward professional
development and networking opportunities for young professionals of existing
and future members of the Chamber between the ages of 21 and 40.
Education:
Leadership Paterson: Now in its 22nd year, Leadership Paterson has graduated
over 550 adult participants, many of whom have gone on to active community
leadership roles in the public and private sectors. For more information

Marketing:
Business Directory: Members are listed for free in the annually published
Paterson Area Business and Community Guide, which is distributed to the
Chambers 600 members, City and school offices, the branches of the Public
Library, The Paterson Museum, and other governmental offices of interest.
Members are encouraged to place ads in the publication to further their
exposure.
Piggy Back Mailings: Reach more than 1,000 executives for less than
the cost of postage. You supply us with the mailing piece and we will take
care of the rest.
Chamber Happenings

publication in Chamber Happenings. 2. Advertising rates for Chamber members in our monthly publication start as
low as $25
Sponsorship of Events or Business card Exchanges: Members are encouraged to
sponsor specific events and business card exchanges allowing for maximum
exposure to attendees as well as on event promotional pieces.
Government Affairs/Advocacy:
Advocacy: Many local government officials are just a phone call away for the
Chamber. When a member has a specific concern, our Chamber is ready to
advocate on their behalf to those who can make a difference.
Joint Governmental Affairs Luncheons:
Members are welcomed to attend our
Friday luncheons hosted in partnership with the other Passaic county
Chambers of Commerce. These luncheons feature a different guest speakers
from local, county and state government. These officials engage in an
off-the-record discussion about business issues with an intimate group of
Chamber members.
